Bella Hadid, the 27-year-old runway queen, lassoed her cowboy boyfriend, Adan Banuelos, for a lunch date in the wild streets of New York City. Apparently, the city that never sleeps also never stops hosting spontaneous yee-haw moments.
On this fine Thursday (Sept. 12), Bella was serving “polka dot cowgirl realness” in a red and white mini dress that could double as a chic picnic blanket if need be. Her suede brown boots were practically shouting, “I have horses, but they’re all models.” Meanwhile, Adan—who, by the way, is 35 years old and bringing the cowboy energy to a new level—opted for a casual olive green shirt, jeans, and, of course, the essential black cowboy hat. Because nothing says “I’m dating a supermodel in NYC” like rolling up to a restaurant looking like you just wrangled a herd of cattle… or at least a couple of paparazzi.
But wait! This is Bella we’re talking about, so one outfit change just had to happen. Later in the day, she swapped her cute polka dots for a black pinstriped shirt and jeans, topping it off with—you guessed it—another black cowboy hat. She and Adan then galloped over to meet her mom, Yolanda Hadid, and her fiancé, Joseph Jingoli, at a rodeo event. Because if you’re going to date a cowboy, you might as well commit fully to the rodeo lifestyle.
As if their day wasn’t already packed with cowboy chicness, the night before, Bella and Adan were spotted on another steamy (or at least saddle-ready) dinner date. No word yet on whether the dress code included spurs or if anyone challenged Adan to a duel at high noon.
So, buckle up, New York! Bella and her cowboy are riding into the sunset, one fashionable date at a time. Yee-haw!
