Well, well, well, if it isn’t Andy Cohen, Patron Saint of Reality TV Drama, trying to clean up some decade-old mess.
Back in 2011, when flip phones were still a thing and The Hills was everyone’s guilty pleasure, Andy went full savage on Watch What Happens Live. When asked if he’d ever cast Heidi Montag on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, he did not hold back.
“I would sooner stab knives into my own eyes than see her on this network,” he declared. (A poetic and slightly concerning level of commitment to his reality TV vision.)
Oh, and to sprinkle a little extra insult on top, he also called Heidi “trash.” Classic 2011 Andy—before publicists made people apologize properly.
Fast-forward 14 years
On this week’s episode of Andy Cohen Live, Andy dusted off his My Bad handbook and decided to try again.
“I apologized before, but yeah, that was mean,” he admitted. “What I really don’t like about it is calling her trash. That was not cool.”
And then he went into damage control mode, adding:
“By the way, there were things we said and did on TV 14 years ago that we wouldn’t do now. It was a different universe.” Translation: 2011 was the Wild West, please don’t cancel me in 2025.
Meanwhile, in the Land of Spencer Pratt…
Spencer—aka Reality TV’s Most Unapologetic Villain—was not feeling the love. When a fan on X (formerly known as Twitter, RIP) asked if he and Heidi would ever go on WWHL, Spencer basically said:
“The guy who said he’d rather blind himself than watch my wife? Hard pass.”
But wait, there’s more! A Bravo fan tried to argue that Speidi should feel honored if Andy ever invited them. Spencer? Not buying it.
“lol yah so lucky the guy that bashes my wife gonna be so lucky to sit with him. Rather sit in my burned house rubble,” Spencer clapped back—casually referencing the fact that his house literally burned down in the L.A. fires.
(Side note: Spencer’s ability to turn literal disaster into petty reality TV beef is honestly impressive.)
Spencer’s Terms for Forgiveness: A Dance Tribute
So, is this feud finally over? Absolutely not.
According to TMZ, Spencer says Andy’s apology doesn’t count unless he reaches out privately. Oh, and also—he must post a video of himself dancing to Heidi’s song “I’ll Do It.”
Yes. Spencer Pratt is demanding a viral TikTok dance from Andy Cohen.
The ball is now in Andy’s court. And let’s be honest—we all need to see this dance happen.
