Andy Cohen is taking a hilarious jab at Anderson Cooper’s picture-perfect family, and it’s comedy gold.
During his appearance on Live with Kelly & Mark on Thursday (May 30), the 55-year-old Watch What Happens Live host spilled the beans about hanging out with the 56-year-old CNN anchor. In a side-splittingly sarcastic revelation, Andy dished on why Anderson’s sons Wyatt, 3, and Sebastian, 2, drive him nuts.
“I love seeing you and Anderson Cooper going on those dad field trips with your kids. Who’s the most neurotic between you two?” co-host Mark Consuelos asked, clearly stirring the pot.
“I actually think it might be me. You’d think it’s him…” Andy trailed off, chuckling. Mark jumped in, “He’s pretty chill, isn’t he?”
Andy, dad to Benjamin, 5, and Lucy, 2, couldn’t hold back. “His kids never seem to mess up, and it drives me bonkers! My kid’s just escaped one time-out and is sprinting into the next. Meanwhile, Anderson’s kids are all, ‘Yes Daddy, I will comply,'” Andy said, mimicking a little robot. “I’m like, ‘Do you have any chaos at home? This is maddening!'”
Kelly Ripa couldn’t resist chiming in. “I tell him that all the time! I’m like, ‘This is not what kids are like!'”
Andy wrapped up his rant with a flourish. “I mean, do they ever cry? It’s ridiculously annoying.”
