Vittoria Ceretti is breaking her silence on her relationship with Hollywood’s forever bachelor, Leonardo DiCaprio! And spoiler alert: she’s not loving the labels.
For those who haven’t been keeping up with Leonardo’s never-ending list of model girlfriends (no judgment, it’s a full-time job), the 26-year-old Italian beauty and the 50-year-old Oscar winner have been linked since 2023. But unlike Leo’s usual “seen-yachting-with-a-blonde” headlines, these two have tried to keep things low-key.
In a new interview with Vogue France, Vittoria opened up about their romance—well, kind of—and made it crystal clear that she’s not here for being defined as just “Leo’s girlfriend.”
Vittoria: “I Have a Name, People!”
“As soon as you’re dating someone with a bigger fan base than you, you become the ‘girlfriend of’—or ‘boyfriend of,’” she told the mag, pointedly NOT name-dropping Leo, because she’s got mystery to maintain.
“And that can be extremely annoying,” she added. “Like, suddenly my entire existence is reduced to ‘Leonardo DiCaprio’s latest plus-one’—as if I don’t have my own life, my own career, my own… skincare routine?”
She also threw some subtle shade at the media’s obsession with Leo’s romantic past, saying, “It’s weird to think you can’t just date who you want without people slapping labels on you.” Basically, she’s over being treated like the latest contestant on The Bachelor: Leonardo DiCaprio Edition.
So, Does She Actually Like the Guy?
Despite the label drama, Vittoria had some sweet words about her man, who Vogue France casually called “one of the most desired people in the world.” (Like we didn’t already know that.)
“If you know you love each other, then there’s no reason to be alarmed,” she said. “Because love protects and gives confidence.” Translation: As long as they’re happy, they’re not losing sleep over what strangers on the internet think.
As for how they met? Vittoria admitted it all started in Milan, Italy, but wouldn’t spill any more details. Maybe it was a classic “he saw her across the room at a fashion show” moment, or maybe she just happened to walk past him eating pasta. Either way, she’s keeping it vague.
And Yes, She’s Seen Titanic
Before you even ask, yes, Vittoria has watched Titanic. (Would dating Leo even be legal if she hadn’t?)
“Who hasn’t seen it? Or didn’t like it?” she said, adding, “It’s an iconic film.”
Classic Vittoria—refusing to give us the deep details but casually reminding us she has taste.
So, will Leo and Vittoria last? Will she ever get used to the world calling her “Leo’s girlfriend”? And most importantly, has he made her watch The Wolf of Wall Street at least 20 times yet? Only time will tell.
