Toni Braxton is spilling the beans on a health scare so dramatic it could be its own soap opera episode!
Here’s the scoop: Toni, being the boss lady she is, summoned her family for a chat about a health scare that nearly turned her into a ghost. Turns out, Toni was up close and personal with what’s known as a “widowmaker” heart attack. Yep, it’s called that because it’s like the heart’s version of a plot twist you didn’t see coming.
This heart-popping drama struck her left anterior descending artery, which is basically the VIP section of your heart’s blood supply. Because of this, Toni had to hit pause on some of her super-fun two-year-long Las Vegas residency, ‘Love & Laughter.’ I guess you could say the show had to take a little intermission!
Toni shared with her fam that the docs were practically throwing confetti in her honor, saying, “Your sister should be celebrating her second chance at life because she was supposed to be a goner.” Yikes!
And if that wasn’t enough to give her the heebie-jeebies, the doctors threw in a little extra scare: they hinted she might never get to tour again because, you know, heart attacks are kind of a mood killer for world tours. “Okay, I’ve heard it before, but this was different,” Toni explained, sounding like she was recounting the time she lost her favorite purse.
