Timothée Chalamet hit the red carpet at the 2025 Screen Actors Guild Awards looking like he was personally sponsored by a pack of neon markers—and somehow, he made it work.
The 29-year-old actor, who is basically Hollywood’s human equivalent of a Renaissance painting, was joined by his A Complete Unknown castmates at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on Sunday (February 23). And yes, they were all completely known to us, but Timmy still managed to outshine them—literally—thanks to his Chrome Hearts ensemble in a shade of green so bright it probably has its own power source.
Chalamet wasn’t just there to look like a high-fashion traffic cone, though—he and the rest of the cast, including Elle Fanning, Monica Barbaro, Edward Norton (plus wife Shauna Robertson), Scoot McNairy (with girlfriend Sosie Bacon), Boyd Holbrook, and Will Harrison, were nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.
But wait, there’s more! Timmy, Edward, and Monica were also nominated individually for their acting chops, because obviously, awards shows are just opportunities for Chalamet to remind us that he’s both stylish and talented (rude).
Now, for the fashion rundown:
– Timothée Chalamet in Chrome Hearts, proving once again he can wear anything, even if it looks like it was plucked from a fluorescent emergency exit sign.
– Elle Fanning in Loewe and Cartier, floating through like a whimsical fairy who just robbed a luxury jewelry store.
– Monica Barbaro in Dior and Bulgari, because she understands that a little sparkle never hurt anyone.
– Edward Norton in Dior Men, reminding us he’s effortlessly cool.
– Sosie Bacon in Sabyasachi, giving main-character energy on the arm of Scoot McNairy.
Will Timmy take home a SAG Award? Will his outfit be visible from space? Only time will tell. Stay tuned.
