Taylor Momsen’s rock-and-roll escapade took a fang-tastic twist when she had to make a pit stop at the hospital after a bat chomped on her during a performance.
The 30-year-old rockstar from The Pretty Reckless was rocking out with AC/DC on Wednesday (May 29). As she shredded through her set, an unexpected guest decided to join the show – a bat, channeling its inner Ozzy Osbourne, swooped down and took a bite out of her leg.
Completely oblivious to her new batty admirer, Taylor only realized what happened thanks to the crowd’s frantic pointing and screaming. Once the set was done, she hopped onto social media to share the wild tale.
“So…ROCK AND ROLL MOMENT…in Sevilla Wednesday during ‘Witches Burn’ of all songs… a BAT 🦇 🦇 flew onto me and clung to my leg…in the moment I was performing and had no idea until the incredible crowd kept screaming and pointing…he was cute, but yes he bit me…so rabies shots for the next two weeks 😖😖😖,” Taylor typed out, probably while trying not to laugh too hard at the sheer absurdity.
She went on to thank the hospital staff who dubbed her #batgirl after seeing the news. “Thanks to all the staff at the hospital who dubbed me #batgirl after seeing it on the local news that morning…more footage to come…that’s one for the books!!!! @acdc #pwrup #BATGIRL.”
And because she’s the ultimate rock-and-roll trooper, Taylor made sure everyone knew the bat was doing just fine. “He’s gonna be my new friend,” she declared.
