Saturday Night Live is basically like a box of chocolates—chaotic, unpredictable, and occasionally someone yells “s–t” on national television. 🍫📺

This past Saturday (April 5), things got real spicy during the iconic Weekend Update segment. Ego Nwodim, comedic queen and general chaos enthusiast, showed up as her character Ms. Eggy (yes, that’s her real fake name), and let’s just say—she scrambled the audience.

Ms. Eggy was clowning the White House Correspondents’ Association for giving comedian Amber Ruffin the boot from their upcoming dinner lineup. Ego (as Ms. Eggy) offered to step in and serve up jokes so hot, the FCC might need a seat.

Then came the moment. Ego asked the crowd, “These men ain’t what?”
And the audience, with the confidence of people who forgot they were on live television, yelled in beautiful, unison harmony:
“S–T!”

That’s right. The entire audience let the expletives fly like it was karaoke night at a dive bar.

Ego’s face? PURE SHOCK. 😂
She immediately clapped back with, “You finna get fined for that,” while co-hosts Colin Jost and Michael Che completely lost it—like two dads watching their toddler say a bad word in public.

Ego added, “Lorne [Michaels] will be mad at y’all,” which is basically the comedy version of “You’re in so much trouble when Mom gets home.”

Now, will the FCC actually fine NBC for this delightful disaster? Who knows! According to sources, the s-word made it to streaming (hi, Peacock!) but NBC’s five-second delay hit the panic button just in time. Shoutout to that intern probably sweating bullets in the control room.

Anyway, SNL returns April 12 with the devastatingly handsome Jon Hamm hosting and the incomparable Lizzo bringing the music. Honestly? We can’t wait to see who drops the next unsanctioned curse word. Fingers crossed it’s the Pope or something. 🙏

Roll the tape. It’s internet history now.
