Sarah Paulson is ready to haunt our screens again in American Horror Story!
Just when you thought it was safe to get back in your cozy blankets, Ryan Murphy, the mad genius behind the show, dropped a bombshell! He recently had a chinwag with Sarah, 49, and Evan Peters about the possibility of their eerie return for the 13th season. Spoiler alert: it’s looking like a spooktacular comeback!
In a recent chat on Good Morning America, Sarah lit the rumor mill on fire. “I think there is a big chance that I will return to American Horror Story,” she teased, probably while wearing a witch hat and clutching a crystal ball. “I’ve got everything crossed—fingers, toes, even my eyes. I would like to do it more than anything. It’s my home. It’s where I started.”
You could almost hear the collective gasp of horror fans everywhere. I mean, who wouldn’t want to jump back into a world where creepy clowns and haunted houses are just part of the job description?
She went on to explain why being part of AHS is like the ultimate actor’s buffet. “I got to play seven different characters in seven years,” she said, possibly while munching on a prop finger sandwich. “As an actor, it’s the most exciting, thrilling thing. It keeps the audience on their toes because they never know what I’m going to do next! It’s like a game of ‘What’s behind Door Number One?’ but way scarier.”
And let’s not forget the reunion part! Sarah is itching to work with her “favorite people” again. “If I could be reunited with Evan Peters and Ryan Murphy,” she gushed, “you can pretty much tell me what time I will be there, and I will show up, dressed as a zombie or whatever they need!”
Both Sarah and Evan, 37, have been part of the AHS shenanigans in 9 out of the 12 seasons so far, and their last spooky appearance was in the AHS: Double Feature, aka Season 10. So get your popcorn ready, because it looks like Season 13 might just be the hair-raising thrill ride we didn’t know we needed!
