Robin Thicke Hits the iHeartRadio Music Awards with His Mini-Me, Julian

Buy Me A Coffee

Robin Thicke and his teenage doppelgänger just graced the iHeartRadio Music Awards red carpet, and the father-son duo might as well have been starring in a buddy cop movie.

The 48-year-old crooner (yes, 48—time flies when you’re Blurring Lines!) and his 14-year-old son, Julian, strutted their way into the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on Monday (March 17), looking like they were about to drop the hottest father-son mixtape of 2025.

Robin rocked a checkered suit with black sunglasses, because nothing says “I still got it” like dressing like a jazz musician who just closed a real estate deal. Julian, on the other hand, wisely let his dad take center stage in the outfit department—probably to avoid a “twinning” moment that would haunt him forever on Instagram.

The Thicke Family Tree
Julian is the son of Robin and his ex-wife, actress Paula Patton, with whom he was married from 2005 to 2015 (a solid decade of love, Hollywood style). Robin has since moved on with fiancée April Love Geary, and together, they’ve assembled their own adorable mini pop group: Mia (6), Lola (5), and Luca (4). At this rate, they could start a family band and call it The Thickettes.

Thicke’s Soft Side
Back in 2011, Robin got all sentimental about fatherhood, revealing that his son Julian completely changed his outlook on music.

“Since I became a dad, I no longer perform for me, I perform for my family,” he told People, probably while wearing another pair of sunglasses indoors. “Julian has changed my music and made me think less of myself.”

Wow. A musician who thinks less about himself? That’s practically a unicorn in the entertainment industry.

Robin ended the moment on a high note, calling Julian “an angel” and “the greatest thing that has ever happened” to him. Aww! Let’s just hope Julian was listening and not busy texting under the table.
