Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have just embarked on a whirlwind four-day tour of Colombia, and we’ve got the scoop on their first day, complete with photo evidence!
Bright and early Thursday morning (August 15 for those who’ve misplaced their calendars), the dynamic duo kicked off their Colombian adventure by shaking hands, hugging it out, and probably exchanging some royal gossip with Vice President Francia Márquez and her husband, Yerney Pinillo, at the VP’s swanky residence in Bogotá. Meghan and Francia were spotted sharing a hug so warm it might have melted the Andes.
Later in the day, Harry and Meghan sashayed over to Centro Nacional de las Artes Delia Zapata, where they were treated to a folkloric spectacle that could only be described as “a cultural fiesta of epic proportions.” Picture Harry and Meghan clapping along while trying not to step on their own feet during the welcome ceremony—pure royal entertainment.
And because we know you’re dying to know, Meghan was decked out in a Veronica Beard outfit, which sounds like something a fashion superhero would wear, paired with Manolo Blahnik heels that could probably double as medieval weaponry. Oh, and her Loro Piana bag? It’s the kind of accessory that says, “I’m here for the culture, but I’ll still be fabulous.” For the artsy presentation, she switched into a Johanna Ortiz dress that screams, “I’m ready to party, but make it chic.”
Stay tuned for more royal antics as Harry and Meghan continue their Colombian escapade!
