NLE Choppa is here to set the record straight, and no, it’s not a new dance move.
So, here’s the juicy tidbit: someone decided to sprinkle some drama under his tweet with a clip of Tim (Brandon Black) coming out as gay in Tyler Perry’s 2022 extravaganza, ‘A Madea Homecoming.’ The clip cheekily proclaimed, “That’s all you want to say? Well, baby, we knew that.”
NLE saw this and, in true Choppa fashion, clapped back with, “Never said I was gay.” Classic.
This little social media saga comes hot on the heels of NLE’s deep and meaningful chat with Paper Magazine, where he waxed poetic about the LGBTQ community. He got all philosophical, saying something like, “You know what? The fact that people are talking about me makes me want to stay true to my purpose. It’s like, oh, you think I’m this way? Fine, let me give you more reasons to think that, even though I’m not. It’s all about spreading love and showing solidarity with everyone because, at the end of the day, we’re all just humans trying to make it through.”
NLE’s message is: keep talking, keep loving, and he’ll keep doing his thing.
