Meghan McCain’s recent reflections on her past stint have folks chuckling.
The 39-year-old politico-turned-pundit, formerly known for her spirited debates on The View, dropped some comedic bombs when asked if she’d ever grace the show’s stage again. Her response? A resounding “Not a snowball’s chance in a desert!”
She made it clear that not only would producers need a miracle to lure her back, but she’s not exactly itching to join the daytime shenanigans either. “I’ve upgraded to parenthood since then, thank you very much. My life’s a sitcom now, and I’m loving every chaotic episode of it,” she quipped.
Reflecting on her time as a co-host from 2017 to 2021, McCain confessed that she’s not exactly sending Christmas cards to her former colleagues. “Let’s just say, I’m not in the group chat anymore,” she joked. But don’t worry, she’s still got some buddies behind the scenes, though she’s keeping their identities under tighter wraps than a mummy. “I’ve got pals lurking in the shadows of the studio, but I’m not naming names. I don’t need them getting swarmed by the paparazzi shouting, ‘You’re friends with who?!'” she laughed.
Ah, Meghan, always good for a punchline, even when talking about ditching daytime TV drama.
