Lindsay Lohan Is Back, Baby — And She’s Bringing the Drama (and the Lies) to Hulu!

Buy Me A Coffee

Stop everything you’re doing. Yes, even that iced coffee you just spilled all over your pants. Because the Lindsay Lohan — queen of comebacks, icon of chaos, and former Mean Girl turned wholesome beach club boss turned rom-com sweetheart — is officially starring in her first-ever TV series! And no, it’s not a reboot of Parent Trap (although, hello? Manifesting that too).

The new show is called Count My Lies, which sounds like the title of every group chat after a bottomless brunch. It’s based on a 2025 novel by Sophie Stava — aka a book from the future, because Lindsay only does time-traveling-level relevance now.

Here’s the deal: Lilo’s stepping into the drama zone as Violet, a dazzlingly beautiful and mysteriously complicated lady who hires a nanny with more red flags than a Love Island contestant. The nanny, Sloane Caraway, lies her way into Violet and her hubby Jay’s glamorous lives. But surprise! This isn’t just about juice boxes and bedtime stories. Their house is basically a ticking time bomb of secrets — and things are about to blow up faster than a group chat after someone says “Let’s talk about last night…”

Not only is Lindsay starring in the series (yas, leading lady status), but she’s also executive producing it. That’s right. She’s not just in front of the camera serving looks and suspicious side-eyes — she’s behind the scenes calling the shots, too. CEO energy!

This marks Lohan’s first-ever leading role in a TV show, which is kinda wild considering she’s been living rent-free in our heads since the early 2000s. We’ve had her as a twin, a teen drama queen, a mathlete (but still a plastic), and now… a chic mystery mama with secrets so juicy they should come with a trigger warning.

No release date yet, but rest assured — when this hits Hulu, the internet will break faster than Regina George’s crown. 💅

Lindsay, welcome back to the spotlight. We missed your drama. We missed your flair. And most of all, we missed not knowing whether to root for your character or be terrified of her. Let the lies begin!
