Whew, child! Mother’s Day is supposed to be about breakfast in bed, flowers, and pretending you like that homemade card your kid glued macaroni to. But for model and professional gorgeous person Denise Bidot, it turned into a full-blown soap opera written by a toddler with a vengeance.
Denise, who has been on-again-off-again with rap legend Lil Wayne (a.k.a. the human tattoo canvas), hopped on Instagram Story this past Sunday like, “Happy Mother’s Day to me—I just got dumped via text and evicted faster than a bad Airbnb guest.” Yup. According to Denise, Weezy literally texted her a breakup message and then had his assistants come boot her and her 16-year-old daughter out of the house. On Mother’s Day. Let that sink in.
Denise was fresh out of surgery too—like, five weeks into her “mommy makeover.” Sis couldn’t even lift a box of Kleenex, let alone move out. “Wayne had his people kick us out, and my daughter’s birthday is next weekend,” she said, clearly holding back tears and the urge to throw his Grammy at the wall.
She added, “I leave for New York this week for Sports Illustrated press. Meanwhile, this man is flying in two other women, as if his ‘harem of heartbreak’ wasn’t already crowded enough.” Sounds like Lil Wayne’s guest list stays longer than his relationships.
Denise wasn’t done. She went full truth bomb mode, saying: “I’ve loved this man like we were starring in The Notebook, but now it’s more like Gone Girl. He flew me out from New York just to serve me emotional TSA-level trauma. AND—plot twist—he’s laid hands on me before. And not in the ‘pass me the remote’ way. I’m talking physical abuse.”
She didn’t hold back on that either, noting she thought it was a “mistake” but now believes she’s not the only one. The message: love may be blind, but it shouldn’t be concussed.
Let’s rewind a bit: Denise and Lil Wayne met in 2019, went public in 2020, broke up in 2022, and apparently reconciled with all the hope of a rebooted sitcom. Sadly, Season 4 of Wayne & Denise: The Drama Continues has just been canceled—by text.
Meanwhile, Lil Wayne continues to collect children like they’re Pokémon cards: Reginae (26), Dwayne III (16), Kameron (15), and Neal (15). It’s giving Fatherhood: Infinity War.
Earlier this year, Wayne made headlines with NFL Super Bowl Halftime Show talk—but if this breakup saga had a halftime performance, it’d be Beyoncé singing “Irreplaceable” while Denise packed her bags to the left.
Anyway, fellas, just a PSA: if you’re breaking up with someone on Mother’s Day via text, while they’re recovering from surgery, and flying in your next flings like it’s a rap video casting call—congrats, you’ve officially entered the Toxic Hall of Fame.
