Kevin Spacey’s financial situation has taken a nosedive that’s more dramatic than one of his movie plots. The 64-year-old Oscar-winner is in a pickle, to put it lightly, all thanks to a string of scandals that make a soap opera look tame.
In a sit-down with Piers Morgan, Kevin spilled the beans on his financial fiasco. Brace yourselves: he’s flat broke, his house is hitting the auction block after foreclosure, and he’s basically living out of a cardboard box. Okay, maybe not that last part, but it’s close.
“I’ve got to head back to Baltimore and chuck my stuff into storage,” Kevin confessed. “I haven’t a clue where I’ll end up living… I can’t pay my bills.”
When Piers asked if he’d declared bankruptcy, Kevin admitted, “There were a couple of moments I thought I’d have to, but somehow, we dodged that bullet. For now, at least.”
And how much cash does he have left? Drumroll, please… “None,” Kevin said, adding that he owes “many millions” in legal fees. Ouch.
“You get the picture with legal bills,” he sighed. “I’m drowning in them.”
But Kevin’s not hiding from his past. He’s ready to own up to his antics. “I’m 150 percent ready to take accountability for the mistakes I made, the really bad behavior. It was bad, bad, bad.”
On a slightly brighter note, Kevin was found innocent in his UK sexual assault trial a year ago. Silver linings, right?
Kevin Spacey: from Hollywood’s A-list to, well, let’s just say he’s not shopping on Rodeo Drive anymore.
