Kelly Clarkson is spilling the beans about potentially returning to American Idol, but not in the way you might think!
The 42-year-old superstar singer and fabulous talk show host got her big break on American Idol over 20 years ago, snatching the crown as the show’s very first winner. Ah, the glory days!
Kelly has graced the Idol stage again with some powerhouse performances, but recently, she was asked if she’d ever slide into a judge’s seat, especially now that Katy Perry has bid adieu, leaving a gaping hole in the judging panel.

“No. No. I can’t do that, only because I promised my kids,” she confessed to ET.
