Guess what, horror fans! Jordan Peele is at it again, ready to make us all sleep with the lights on. Universal has just penciled in a date for his latest spine-tingling masterpiece: mark your calendars for October 23, 2026. Just in time for Halloween—how convenient!
Of course, in classic Peele fashion, they’re keeping the details under wraps. No spoilers here! But if you thought this might be a rom-com or a musical, think again. Given the spooky timing, it’s a safe bet we’re in for another round of horror magic from the guy who made us all paranoid about doppelgängers and murderous suburbanites.
Let’s take a quick trip down nightmare lane: Peele has delivered hit after hit. In 2017, he scared the bejeezus out of us with Get Out, bagging an Oscar while he was at it. Then came Us in 2019, making sure we’d never look at red jumpsuits the same way again. And who could forget Nope in 2022, which had us all saying “nope” to just about everything.
As if that’s not enough, Peele’s been busy on the producer front too. Coming up in September, he’s got Him starring Marlon Wayans. Sounds delightful, right?
Originally, we were supposed to get Peele’s latest fright fest as a Christmas present on December 25, 2024. But alas, Hollywood strikes threw a wrench in those plans. So now, we just have to wait a bit longer to get our next dose of Peele-induced terror. Keep your nightlights handy!
