Jennifer Lopez Has Cancelled Her ‘This Is Me…Now’ Tour

Ladies and gentlemen, gather ’round because the queen of sparkle, Jennifer Lopez, has decided to pull the plug on her much-anticipated This Is Me…Now Tour. Yes, you heard that right, J.Lo’s big comeback tour is now a no-go just weeks before it was set to dazzle the masses.

Our beloved 54-year-old “Get Right” superstar had fans buzzing earlier this year with the grand announcement of her tour, which was supposed to kick off on June 26 in the magical land of Orlando, Florida. However, whispers of low ticket sales turned into full-blown gossip in March when the tour started shrinking faster than my jeans after Thanksgiving dinner.

The bombshell dropped on Friday (May 31), when J.Lo broke the news and spilled the tea on why the tour was getting the axe.

Live Nation, the folks behind the scenes, shared a heartfelt statement with Page Six, saying: “Jennifer is taking time off to be with her children, family, and close friends.” In other words, she’s hitting the pause button to focus on the real VIPs in her life.

J.Lo herself got all up in her OntheJLo newsletter to pour her heart out to her fans. “I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down,” she penned. “Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary. I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time…” Cue the dramatic sighs and teary emojis.

For those who were ready to dance the night away with their Ticketmaster tickets, fear not! You’ll be getting a full refund. But if you got your tickets from some sketchy third-party site, good luck and may the odds be ever in your favor as you chase down that refund.

Adding a little extra spice to the situation, rumor has it that J.Lo and her Hollywood hubby, Ben Affleck, might be going through a rough patch. Ah, celebrity love – it’s as unpredictable as my cat’s mood swings.
