Oh boy, Hayden Panettiere’s team just entered the chat with a big ol’ “calm down, everybody!” after some people got their knickers in a twist over her latest interview.
So, if you missed it (and really, where have you been?), the 35-year-old Scream queen and Nashville star had a sit-down with People magazine, where she opened up about the heartbreaking loss of her brother, among other life tidbits. Heavy stuff, right? Well, it seems like some people didn’t quite catch the memo and instead of focusing on the emotional part, they were like, “Wait, is Hayden okay?”
When People tossed a clip of the interview on Instagram, the comment section was like the wild west—concerned fans were galloping in, waving red flags about her speech and overall vibe. Even Dancing With the Stars’ Peta Murgatroyd came in hot with a “This interview should be removed ASAP!!” as if she were a bouncer at an emotional club no one asked to join.
But fear not! Hayden’s rep quickly swooped in, probably wearing a superhero cape (or at least a well-tailored suit), to clear things up. In a very “no drama, llama” kind of way, the rep told Page Six that the interview was a tough one because, um, hello, talking about losing a sibling isn’t exactly a walk in the park. Plus, Hayden had had a long, tiring day. Exhaustion, emotions, and not a hint of alcohol.
And for those of you hitting refresh on Instagram wondering if the video got pulled—nope! It’s still there, standing strong like a monument to “not jumping to conclusions.”
