Glen Powell recently took a hilarious trip down memory lane, reminiscing about a blink-and-you-miss-it role he had in a major blockbuster.
The 35-year-old star of Hit Man is now headlining some of the biggest movies of 2024. But way back when, he had a brief but unforgettable moment in a beloved superhero flick.
In a recent appearance, Glen cracked jokes about his nanosecond-long cameo with one of the most iconic villains of all time.
The movie in question? 2012’s The Dark Knight Rises. Glen played a stockbroker, diligently working away until the villainous Bane (Tom Hardy) crashes the New York Stock Exchange like an uninvited guest at a wedding.
While chatting with two fans during a Netflix segment, Glen hilariously revealed his part in the film, proudly dubbing himself a “super sexy stockbroker.” Because if you’re going to be a stockbroker in Gotham, you might as well be the sexiest one.
This isn’t the first time Glen has opened up about his blink-and-you-miss-it role in the Dark Knight trilogy. He previously confessed to Discussing Film that it was a high point in his career.
“Getting my head smashed by Bane? If my career had ended there, I could still say, ‘Hey, at least I got my ass kicked by Bane,’” he mused.
