Yes, the Internet had a collective meltdown when 39-year-old music exec Alexander “A.E.” Edwards was spotted living his best bro life at Coachella without his legendary queen, 78-year-old Cher. People immediately assumed it was splitsville. Because obviously, if you go to a music festival without your iconic goddess girlfriend, the only logical explanation is breakup, right?
Wrong.
According to Cher’s rep—who’s probably exhausted and waving a glittery fan while whispering “these people need a hobby”—the two are very much still together. Alexander was just vibing at Coachella with some pals. No drama. No breakup. No sad love songs playing in the background. Just vibes and overpriced tacos.
Let’s rewind the romance reel: Cher and A.E. first locked eyes in 2022 during Paris Fashion Week, aka the place where couture and unexpected love stories collide. Since then, they’ve been serving “age-gap goals” and proving that love knows no limits… or decades.
