ABC just dropped a sneak peek at the new and improved American Idol lineup, and it’s as spicy as a Nashville hot chicken sandwich!
The big news? Carrie Underwood is stepping into the spotlight as the newest judge, boot-scootin’ her way into Katy Perry’s vacated throne. That’s right, Katy’s hung up her eccentric wigs and left the building, leaving Carrie to join Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie, who’ve been holding down the fort since ABC decided to reboot the show in 2018 (because apparently, every good thing deserves a reboot, even Idol).
