28-year-old ‘Cool for the Summer’ superstar Demi Lovato performed yesterday in honor of the Inauguration of Joe Biden, 78, as President of the United States.
Lovato, who had to be rushed to the emergency room in 2018 for a heroin overdose, sang ‘Lovely Day’ by Will Withers for the Celebrate America Inaugural event. She wrote on Instagram alongside a video of Biden watching: “It was an absolute HONOR to perform tonight for our @potus, @vp, & the entirety of our United States of America ❤️🇺🇸 This is a night I will NEVER forget. Thank you to everyone who joined me to sing “Lovely Day” by the late Bill Withers. Such an inspiring night 🤍#Inauguration2021”
She also posted another photo of President Biden watching her performance and captioned the pic: “LOVE YOU @joebiden & @drbiden!!! 💞🇺🇸”…Watch Demi’s performance below and let us know what you think: DID YOU WATCH CELEBRATE AMERICA???
