The 2020 MTV Video Music Awards have been dedicated to the memory of 47-year-old ‘Black Panther’ star Chadwick Boseman!
VMAs host Keke Palmer, 27, made the announcement at the start of the show, saying: “We dedicate tonight’s show to a man whose spirit touched so many. He is a true hero, not just on screen, but in everything he did. His impact lives forever.”
An ‘In Memoriam’ segment is also scheduled during the show and many stars will/are mentioning Boseman through the night…Chadwick passed away after battling a four-year battle with colon cancer this past Friday. “The world needs more superheroes, and we all deserve to see ourselves in them. Chadwick Boseman helped make that happen. Rest in power,” reads a tweet from MTV’s account honoring the actor…Take a look below and let us know what you think:
