Amy Schumer claims that she doesn’t mind if her 2-year-old song Gene David Fischer is diagnosed with autism in the very near future…
In an interview with Chelsea Handler on her ‘Dear Chelsea’ podcast Amy revealed: “I think the statistics are pretty strong toward he will most likely have autism. Parents have different journeys with this. Having a child with severe autism is beyond my imagination difficult.”
Amy continues: “But if Gene does wind up having ASD, I’m not looking for the signs in a way that are upsetting. I’m not hoping either way…” If you didn’t know: Gene’s dad Chris Fischer was found to be on the autism spectrum in 2019…back then Amy said to ET: “My husband was diagnosed with what used to be called Asperger’s. He has autism spectrum disorder. He’s on the spectrum. And there were some signs early on.” Listen below and let us know what you think:
