31-year-old ‘Cats’ star Taylor Swift just revealed that she’s not going to submit the ‘Taylor’s Version’ of her album Fearless for Grammy consideration!
‘Fearless (Taylor’s Version)’ is the first re-recorded release from Taylor after Scooter Braun purchased rights to her music; but Swift is not going to be submitting it for consideration at both the Grammy’s and the Country Music Awards…instead Taylor is going to use her ‘Evermore’ release from December 2020 as the main focus for consideration. A rep for Republic Records said to Billboard: “After careful consideration, Taylor Swift will not be submitting Fearless (Taylor’s Version) in any category at this year’s upcoming Grammy and CMA Awards. Fearless has already won four Grammys including album of the year, as well as the CMA Award for album of the year in 2009/2010 and remains the most awarded country album of all time.”
‘Evermore’ is going to be submitted for all Grammy categories and so voters will only have one Taylor record to vote for instead of two! Taylor at just 31 already holds 11 Grammy Awards and 12 Country Music Awards.
