New Taylor Swift music is being teased today!

The 32-year-old’s voice can be heard in a song called ‘Carolina’ featured in the trailer for the upcoming movie ‘Where The Crawdads Sing’ out July 22. The film is based off a novel of the same name by Delia Owens which was released 14 August 2018…synopsis: “In 1952, six-year-old Catherine Danielle Clark (nicknamed “Kya”) watches her mother abandon her and her family. While Kya waits in vain for her mother’s return, she witnesses her older siblings, Missy, Murph, Mandy, and eventually Jodie, all leave as well, due to their father’s drinking and physical abuse…”

Taylor wrote on Instagram of the song and movie: “Where The Crawdads Sing is a book I got absolutely lost in when I read it years ago. As soon as I heard there was a film in the works starring the incredible @daisyedgarjones and produced by the brilliant @reesewitherspoon, I knew I wanted to be a part of it from the musical side. I wrote the song “Carolina” alone and asked my friend @aarondessner to produce it. I wanted to create something haunting and ethereal to match this mesmerizing story. You’ll hear it fully soon, but for now check out the @crawdadsmovie trailer for a clip!.” Take a look below and let us know what you think:
