Kim Kardashian is “Done Staying Silent” Over George Floyd Death

Kim Kardashian, 39, has just spoken out regarding the death of George Floyd in police custody. Kardashian wrote on Twitter that she's been trying to "find the right words to express my condolences and outrage" after the deaths of black men under police; but after the death of Floyd: "Not today, not anymore. Like so many of you, I am angry. I am more than angry. I am infuriated and I am disgusted. I am exhausted by the heartbreak I feel seeing mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers and children suffering because their loved one was murdered or locked away unjustly for being black." Kim continues: "Even though I will never know the pain and suffering they have endured, or what it feels like to try to survive in a world plagued by systemic racism, I know I can use my own voice to help amplify those voices that have been muffled for too long." Beyonce, 38, says she's "broken and disgusted" over the death of George Floyd in police custody. The superstar posted a video to her Instagram page where she says: "We all witnessed his murder in broad daylight. We’re broken and we’re disgusted. We cannot normalize this pain. I’m not only speaking to people of color. If you’re white, black, brown, or anything in between, I’m sure you feel hopeless by the racism going on in America right now. 33-year-old 'Chromatica' music superstar Lady Gaga has taken to Instagram to address the protests and outrage sparked by the death of George Floyd in police custody. Gaga wrote on Instagram: "I am as outraged by the death of George Floyd as I have been by the deaths of exponentially too many black lives over hundreds of years that have been taken from us in the country as a result of systemic racism and the corrupt system that support it.
