45-year-old former ‘Buffy The Vampire Slayer’ actress Sarah Michelle Gellar just revealed her gladness at a ‘Cruel Intentions’ television spinoff not taking off back in 2016.
Gellar starred in the iconic ‘Cruel Intentions’ movie in the late 90s as Kathryn Merteuil and was actually supposed to reprise said major role in the television spinoff. However plans for the spinoff fell through and in a new interview with The New York Times, Sarah says she’s actually glad it never came about…Sarah: “That was a whole crazy time. Nothing against NBC, but Cruel Intentions is straight streaming. On the first day, I was like, ‘This isn’t working.’ It’s just not a network show. And if it is a network show, it’s not my Cruel Intentions. So, I was actually grateful.”
