Hey, guys and gals, have you heard the news? Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola is heading back to the Jersey Shore! You read that right, the OG cast member is making a comeback to MTV’s infamous reality show, and we are so here for it!
For those who need a refresher, Sammi starred in the original Jersey Shore series alongside Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Pauly “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio, Angelina Pivarnick, Vinny Guadagnino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, and Deena Nicole Cortese. But back in 2018, when the show was rebooted, Sammi chose to sit it out, claiming she wanted to avoid “toxic situations” (cough Ron).
Well, it seems like her former co-stars never gave up on trying to convince her to come back. Snooki even spilled the tea to E! News, revealing that they had all texted Sammi two years ago, begging her to come back for just one dinner. But Sammi was like, “Nope, not happening, fam.” And then, Snooki tried to message her again recently, only to find out that she had been blocked on social media. Ouch, talk about getting ghosted!
But surprise, surprise, the sweetest bitch you’ll ever meet is finally making her way back to the shore! MTV made the announcement on their Instagram, dropping a pic of Sammi looking all fabulous in front of the camera with the caption, “She’s still the sweetest bitch you’ll ever meet.” And if that wasn’t enough to convince you that she’s back, Sammi confirmed the news herself on her own Insta, posting a pic of herself in front of a green screen with the caption, “Okay, I can finally say… I’m backkk! @jerseyshore #jsfamilyvacation”
We’re not sure why Sammi changed her mind and decided to join the show again, but we’re guessing it has something to do with Ronnie not being there anymore. He’s taking a break to focus on his mental health and legal issues, which means Sammi won’t have to deal with his drama this time around. Yay!
We can’t wait to see what kind of shenanigans Sammi will get into with the rest of the gang. And who knows, maybe she’ll even unblock Snooki on social media! Stay tuned, folks, this is going to be hilarious!
