Former leader of the Cuban communist revolution, 90-year-old Fidel Castro, died today after battling Diverticulitis (swelling of the colon).
Castro ruled the Caribbean island since the revolution in 1959 and gave the reigns of his younger brother Raul who became President of Cuba in 2008.
Fidel made very few public appearances since stepping down in 2008. REST IN PEACE FIDEL!
