The Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade today could have very well been an episode of THE MUPPET SHOW!

90-year-old ‘I Left My Heart in San Francisco’ singer Tony Bennett was wrapping up a duet with a scantily-clad Ms. Piggy of ‘Santa Claus is Coming to Town’ when the parade float began to move causing Bennett to completely LOSE HIS BALANCE!

He needed help from THE MUPPETS character to stand back into position. Host Matt Lauer, 58, said of Bennett: “We want to say that Tony Bennett – not only celebrating the 90th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade this year – the legendary performer also celebrating his 90th birthday this year with a two-hour, star-studded NBC special airing Tuesday night, Dec. 20th at 9.” Watch Bennett’s fall below:
