Starting this year’s April Fool’s Day, former Sussexes – 35-year-old Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle, 38, will be officially beginning their lives as NON-ROYALS!
Despite having left Buckingham Palace for some time now, the two have not relinquished their official Royal titles – but will now have to beginning April 1. Buckingham Palace confirm that Meghan and Harry’s Royal Office will officially be closing on March 31 2020, and the couple are expected to be in the UK in late February and early March for a series of events. They are set to join Queen Elizabeth on March 9 for the Commonwealth Service at Westminster Abbey.
Prince Harry is set to retain his army ranks for one year as Major, Lieutenant Commander, and Squadron Leader, however he will not be required to perform any official duties associated with these roles! Meghan and Harry will continue to retain titles as the Earl and Countess of Dumbarton in Scotland, and Baron and Baroness Kilkeel in Northern Ireland…Let us know: WILL BUCKINGHAM PALACE MISS HARRY AND MEGHAN?
