In an updated edition of the biography ‘Finding Freedom,’ authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand allege that Meghan Markle was on verge of revealing a potentially damaging detail about Prince Harry before their son Archie’s birth. In order to protect him, she then decided against doing so in her TV interview with Oprah Winfrey who had reportedly inquired if they would discuss it during the show. Meghan however chose not to reveal the racist’s name, saying instead to Oprah: “I think it would be very damaging to them…”
The royal couple claimed that a member of the British Royal Family asked them if their unborn child would be dark, and whether or not they planned to name him. “That conversation I’m never going to share, but at the time, it was awkward; I was a bit shocked,” Harry said. He also made sure to add that the Royal in question was not Prince Philip nor Queen Elizabeth.
A Buckingham Palace staffer told Scobie and Durand that the unaddressed race allegations have threatened the royal family’s reputation around the globe, revealing: “There is a feeling that if it’s ignored it will go away, but surely by now they should have learned that never happens?”
