Our favorite payment service – PayPal (donations@iconichipster.com) – is COMING for streaming music service Pandora for allegedly infringing on their logo design!
PayPal say that Pandora’s new blue ‘p” in their logo damages their business because customers are opening the wrong app on their phones due to the similar design.
According to the suit, Pandora’s logo “not only resembles, but openly mimics the PayPal logo and has interfered dramatically with PayPal users’ experience.” This being true as one PayPal customer tweeted: “Kept trying to sign in to my PayPal thinking it was my Pandora. Icons look so similiar.”
