19-year-old ‘driver’s license’ superstar Olivia Rodrigo is slamming the United States Supreme Court for overturning Roe v. Wade, 410 U.S. 113 – a law that protected womens’ reproductive rights to carry a pregnancy to term and get an abortion when needed.
Before her set at the Glastonbury Festival in Glastonbury, England, Olivia sent a message to the Supreme Court by bringing out Lily Allen as a special guest and performing Allen’s 2009 song ‘F**k You.’
Olivia said to the crowd before the performance: “I’m devastated and terrified. So many women and so many girls are going to die because of this. I wanted to dedicate this next song to the five members of the Supreme Court who have showed us that at the end of the day, they truly don’t give a shit about freedom. The song is for the justices: Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, Amy Coney Barrett, Brett Kavanaugh. We hate you! We hate you!!!!!” Watch below and let us know what you think of Olivia’s groundbreaking statement:
