“Let’s get physical, physical – I want to get physical – Let’s get into physical – Let me hear your body talk, your body talk.” We bet 68-year-old ‘Grease’ actress Olivia Newton-John wasn’t very happy during her latest ‘physical’ as she has now had to postpone ALL her concert dates in June! The singer/actress has just been diagnosed with breast cancer and is embracing chemotherapy right away!
Olivia’s rep says in a statement: “The back pain that initially caused her to postpone the first half of her concert tour, has turned out to be breast cancer that has metastasized to the sacrum. In addition to natural wellness therapies, Olivia will complete a short course of photon radiation therapy and is confident she will be back later in the year, better than ever, to celebrate her shows.”
She plans to continue the tour later this year when she feels better as she added in the statement: “I decided on my direction of therapies after consultation with my doctors and natural therapists and the medical team at my Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness and Research Centre in Melbourne, Australia.” Wishing you well Miss Olivia Newton-John!
