The queen of rap, Nicki Minaj, might be teaming up with the rising star Kim Petras for a brand spankin’ new song! Can you even handle the excitement?!
The rumors started flying around like a bunch of balloons at a kids’ birthday party when Petras commented on one of Minaj’s Instagram posts. The post featured Nicki looking hot as heck in a black swimsuit and silk robe, and the caption was “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.” You know, like that movie with all the martial arts and stuff.
Petras couldn’t resist and dropped two emojis on the post – an open-mouthed emoji and a blowing smoke emoji. Clearly, she was blown away by Nicki’s stunning pics!
And then, hold on to your hats, Nicki responded! She wrote back to Petras, saying “baby!!!” with three whole exclamation points. That’s like, serious excitement right there.
The fans were going absolutely wild in the comments, begging for a collab between these two mega-talented ladies. One fan even said they needed it “like yesterday.” Nicki saw the comment and responded with “oh yeah?” and the eyes emoji. We don’t know about you, but that seems like a pretty good sign to us!
