Selena Gomez’s new Apple Original Film – a documentary called ‘My Mind and Me’ – will be opening the 36th edition of the AFI Festival in Los Angeles come November 2.
Gomez announced the project last week, revealing that she’d also come into a partnership with Apple TV+ for the project.
‘My Mind and Me’ is directed by Alek Kehishian, who’s responsible for Madonna’s ‘Madonna: Truth or Dare’ and also happens to be brother to Gomez’s manager, Aleen Keshishian. ‘My Mind and Me’ will be detailing Gomez’s “journey from the heights of unimaginable superstardom through the lows of a very personal crisis and back again.”
