35-year-old superstar Beyoncé and husband Jay-Z declared their support for Democratic Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton during a Get Out The Vote concert last night at the Wolstein Center in Cleveland, Ohio.
Bey and Jay performed some of their well-known hits and took some time out to voice their opinion on the upcoming US Presidential Election. Beyoncé said: “Less than 100 years ago, women did not have the right to vote. Look how far we’ve come from having no voice to being on the brink of making history by electing the first woman president…I want my daughter to grow up seeing a women lead our country and knowing that her possibilities are limitless. And that’s why I am with her.”
Jay-Z added: “I want my daughter to grow up in a world where she has no limitations. She feels like she can be whatever she wants to be in the world.” A few moments later, 69-year-old Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton appeared and quoted Jay’s song MR PRESIDENT, saying: “Jay memorably said something we should all recall: ‘Rosa Parks sat so Martin Luther could walk. And Martin Luther walked so Barack Obama could run. And Barack Obama ran so all the children could fly!’”
