56-year-old actress Ming-Na Wen who voiced the original MULAN in Disney’s original 1998 animated film, makes a cameo in the live-action remake!
Close to the very end of the 2020 Disney Plus movie, Mulan saves the Emperor of China by defeating Boris Khan and is then invited as a guest to the palace. A woman called “Esteemed Guest” – played by Ming-Na Wen – then introduces Mulan to the Emperor…Ming-Na Wen’s 19-year-old daughter Michaela Zee also makes a cameo in the same scene…
Wen wrote on Instgram when the movie was released yesterday: “Live-action #Mulan is finally out today on @disneyplus Premiere Access. I can’t wait to see it again!!
