Shoe company heiress Jessica Mulroney, 40, who happens to be best friends with Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex – is being SLAMMED by a black Canadian model and influencer named Sasha Exeter for threatening her!
Exeter reveals in a new IGTV post that she posted a generic call-to-action on her Instagram page encouraging those with an online voice to speak up about the racial tension over the past few weeks; specifically to “use their voice for good and help combat the race war and what’s happening to the Black community.” Mulroney seemed to take that generic message as directly aimed at her and proceeded to threaten Sasha by claiming that she’d speak to brands and companies about working with Sasha, thereby threatening Sasha’s livelihood. Exeter reveals in her video: “Unfortunately though, one very prominent Canadian figure, who used to be an acquaintance of mine, named Jessica Mulroney, took offense to a very generic call to action that I shared on my IG stories. What happened next was a series of very problematic behavior and antics that ultimately resulted in her sending me a threat in writing last Wednesday.”
Sasha also points out that Mulroney is best friends with “arguably one of the most famous Black women in the world,” though she has not even spoken up about Black Lives Matter. Sasha continues: “For her to threaten me ― a single mom, a single Black mom ― during a racial pandemic blows my mind. The goal here is genuine, transformative change ― not optical and performative bullshit. You cannot be posting that you stand in solidarity while attempting to silence somebody via text…” Mulroney’s show ‘I Do Redo’ has been pulled off all platforms by CTV, with the network issuing a statement saying that Jessica’s “recent conduct… conflicts with [the network’s] commitment to diversity and equality.” Watch Sasha’s full commentary below and let us know: WILL MEGHAN MARKLE STILL INVITE JESSICA MULRONEY OVER? IS SHE COMPLETELY CANCELLED NOW? OVER..? DUNZO?

I’ve been silent. Not anymore! I’m used to being so transparent on this platform. I think it’s the main reason why most of you follow me. Today, I’m opening up about something that has been haunting me for the last week. I have felt like a complete fraud fighting for racial equality and using my voice openly here, while letting a white woman silence mine behind closed doors. In sharing this very personal story, I know that I am risking a lot. Opening myself up to criticism, bullying and potential ramifications with my job in this space. However, I must speak my truth. Enough is enough. Hopefully my voice will be heard by many and help change things for the next generation and for my daughter Maxwell… because I will be dammed if my child ever has to deal with this level of ignorance.
