The former Sussexes: 38-year-old Meghan Markle and 35-year-old Prince Harry, want to help pay for their own security following their escape from England!
The famous couple have offered to help offset the cost of their security by reimbursing Canadian taxpayers for costs related to their safety. Apparently, Harry and Meghan want to pay back the Canadian government as soon as they begin following their business-plans post-Megxit. It’s been reported that Meghan and Harry are planning on selling exclusive TV rights as a way to make money, with Netflix already confirming a documentary about the couple’s charitable activities.
Protecting Meghan and Harry costs around $2 million per month, and currently about six full-time bodyguards are required to surround the pair and their son Archie covertly as they lead their daily lives. The cost may end up being split between the British and Canadian government. Take a look at Meghan taking her dog on a walk in Vancouver below – security en-tow, and let us know: DO YOU REALLY THINK MEGHAN AND HARRY COULD AFFORD TO PAY $2 MILLION A MONTH IN PERSONAL SECURITY? SHOULD THE CANADIAN GOVERNMENT STOP BEING SO CHEAP AND JUST PAY UP?! SHOULD CANADA INTRODUCE A HARRY AND MEGHAN TAX?
