Maria Menounos Is Recovering Well After Brain Tumor Diagnosis

39-year-old ‘Serial Buddies’ actress Maria Menounos is assuring all those concerned that she’s on the road to recovery after a startling BRAIN TUMOR diagnosis!

Maria left her post at E! News to treat the tumor which is benign, and posted a pic on Instagram alongside her Mom who’s battling stage 4 brain cancer: “I want you all to know that I’m ok! Seriously I’m recovering well and should be as good as new very very soon! Luckily I don’t need any further treatments but I can’t say the same about my mom. So please keep her in your prayers.”

Menounos had been experiencing a variety of symptoms including slurred speech and headaches earlier this year before she decided to see a doctor. An MRI discovered a tumor the size of a GOLF BALL pushing on her facial nerves and therefore Maria scheduled surgery on June 8 with her mom’s doctor. “He said, ‘I’m 98 percent sure it’s benign but we won’t know until we get in there,” said Maria before her surgery.
