Maria Menounos Is Recovering Well After Brain Tumor Diagnosis

39-year-old ‘Serial Buddies’ actress Maria Menounos is assuring all those concerned that she’s on the road to recovery after a startling BRAIN TUMOR diagnosis!

Maria left her post at E! News to treat the tumor which is benign, and posted a pic on Instagram alongside her Mom who’s battling stage 4 brain cancer: “I want you all to know that I’m ok! Seriously I’m recovering well and should be as good as new very very soon! Luckily I don’t need any further treatments but I can’t say the same about my mom. So please keep her in your prayers.”

Menounos had been experiencing a variety of symptoms including slurred speech and headaches earlier this year before she decided to see a doctor. An MRI discovered a tumor the size of a GOLF BALL pushing on her facial nerves and therefore Maria scheduled surgery on June 8 with her mom’s doctor. “He said, ‘I’m 98 percent sure it’s benign but we won’t know until we get in there,” said Maria before her surgery. Check out her pics below and let us know what you think:
