Lindsay Lohan Lobbies UN Security Council for Turkey Inclusion

30-year-old tabloid sensation Lindsay Lohan lately appears to be doing a lot of good and apparently Syrian refugees love her!

Lohan is currently lobbying the UN Security Council to include Turkey, yes really. She was in Turkey this past week visiting refugees; during her visits she held babies and changed to doctors’ robes to help with pediatric checks!

Al-Monitor from the Middle East reports of her efforts: “Lohan’s compatriot Angelina Jolie has visited the same refugee camps along the Syrian border several times, but she never elicited the gushing enthusiasm afforded Lohan. Lohan has waded into Turkish politics in a big way, spouting, among other things, one of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s worthier mantras: ‘The world is bigger than five’” – a critique of the UN Security Council. I met a wonderful aid worker (Azize) at The Refugee Camp in Antep. She saw that my eyes lit up when I told her that her headscarf is beautiful. She waved to me and said, come with me, I followed her and she gifted it to me. I was so moved and touched by this that I wanted to wear it in appreciation for all of the generosity and love I received from everyone at the camp.
