41-year-old actor and environmentalist Leonardo DiCaprio wants to revive 90’s cartoon CAPTAIN PLANET which centered on five teenagers who were given magic rings to control the world’s natural elements!
The five teens can together summon CAPTAIN PLANET, a superhero who helps them fight environmental evils.
The Hollywood Reporter says that Leo’s story will take place years after the original series and will focus on a washed-up and fatigued Captain America who needs his team of teens more than ever! Scream Queens star and Jono Matt are reportedly being eyed as writers for the new script.
