Lady Gaga is back, and she’s bringing Mayhem (literally)!
The 38-year-old Grammy-hoarding, Oscar-winning, high-heel-defying queen of pop just threw an exclusive Little Monster press conference in New York City. And by exclusive, we mean she basically summoned her top Spotify streamers like a pop music sorceress.
The event, hosted by comedian Benito Skinner, was a rollercoaster of revelations. Gaga dished on everything from her new album Mayhem to her mysterious whisper to Ariana Grande at the 2020 VMAs to the long-awaited (and possibly cursed?) sequel to “Telephone.”
The Saga of “Telephone Pt. 2”
Monsters, rejoice! The long-lost, mythical unicorn of pop music is actually happening—sort of. Gaga teased:
💋 “The tea on ‘Telephone Pt. 2’ is that [it’s happening]… but I’m not going to give it all away. You wouldn’t want that anyway.”
TRANSLATION: We’ll probably hear it in 2047, but we’ll happily wait like the devoted Little Monsters we are.
That Mysterious Whisper to Ariana Grande
Remember when Gaga whispered something cryptic to Ariana Grande at the 2020 VMAs, and the internet turned into full-time detectives? Well, Gaga herself has no clue what she said.
🎤 “I don’t know! It was probably something very silly because we’re very silly when we’re together.”
She then vowed to rewatch the footage and even consult Ariana herself—because clearly, even global superstars forget their own iconic moments.
Will There Be a MAYHEM Tour?
A Gaga album without a tour is like a Chromatica Ball without a futuristic Mad Max aesthetic. So, when asked about hitting the road for Mayhem, Gaga practically confirmed it:
🎶 “There will probably be [a Mayhem tour] coming soon.”
Which, in Gaga language, means it’s happening… eventually… at a time of her choosing… perhaps when the planets align and Beyoncé gives her a sign.
One thing’s for sure—Little Monsters better start saving up for glitter, platform boots, and emotional damage, because Mayhem is on its way!
