Queen Elizabeth turns a hearty 94-years-old today and leading in with the birthday wishes are the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge: Prince William and Kate Middleton!
The official Instagram account for Kensington Palace just posted a photo of Kate, William, and the Queen on Instagram – with a caption alongside it stating: “Wishing Her Majesty The Queen a very happy 94th birthday today.” Due to the coronavirus pandemic, public celebrations of the Monarch’s birthday have been suspended, including the traditional gun salutes. A source says: “Her Majesty was keen that no special measures were put in place to allow gun salutes as she did not feel it appropriate in the current circumstances.”
The Queen is however going to be celebrating her party via video-conference with other Royals, and anyone invited to attend.
