Is Kanye West seriously trying to resurrect his career after all the shenanigans he’s pulled? I mean, come on!
By now, you’ve probably heard about the 45-year-old rapper’s wild antics. He rocked “White Lives Matter” shirts during Paris Fashion Week, spewed out some seriously antisemitic remarks, and made a whole bunch of other problematic statements. Not to mention his lovely behavior towards his ex, Kim Kardashian. Ye really outdid himself this time, even dabbling in pro-Nazi nonsense. Needless to say, the consequences were huge. Companies like CAA, Adidas, Gap, and Balenciaga promptly severed ties with him, and he lost the respect of many.
But wait, there’s more! Since then, even more allegations have emerged. Kanye is now facing lawsuits from two former staff members of Donda Academy, who accused him of racial discrimination and health and safety violations. In the face of all this backlash, Kanye has been playing it low-key, except for that unexpected marriage to Kim’s doppelgänger, Bianca Censori, earlier this year. And now, brace yourselves, because it seems he’s plotting a comeback. Ugh, seriously?
According to an oh-so-trustworthy report from The US Sun, some insider spilled the beans that Kanye is attempting to get back in the game with his fashion designs and music projects. And how does he plan to kick things off? By building a ginormous new showroom, of course! The Sun claims that Kanye has leased a whopping 7,400-square-foot space on swanky Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles. And guess what? It’s conveniently located just a few doors down from an Adidas store. Coincidence? We think not. Ye must have planned it that way… Melrose real estate doesn’t come cheap, my friend.
Apparently, construction has already started on the place. Construction workers have been spotted doing their thing at the back, while others have been sanding the floors inside. Photos obtained by The Sun reveal that the windows and doors are covered, and the whole joint has been painted a gloomy shade of gray. Initially, rumors were swirling that this venue would be a new store for Kanye’s merchandise, but the insider spilled the beans, saying it’s actually going to be a “Yeezy HQ” for multi-purpose use. Oh, fancy! According to the same source:
“The vision for its use has changed to being multi-purpose, it’s not just going to be a store. Ye has been hosting parties for three weeks in a row at the venue and giving away sample pieces for his latest collection.”
Oh, Ye, you party animal! Not only has he been throwing shindigs left and right, but he’s also revived his famous Sunday Service after over a year. Can you believe it? And get this, the kids from Donda Academy have been putting on performances there too. Wow, that academy just keeps chugging along, huh? As of now, there’s no official release date for the grand opening, but you can bet it’s coming “soon.” The source added:
“He’s been working hard to get everything ready for his comeback.”
Oh, and let’s not forget about Bianca. Kanye has been collaborating with his Kim lookalike wife, who he hired as the Head of Architecture at his fashion company back in 2020, for Yeezy Season 10. It remains to be seen how the public will react to this grand comeback, but let’s be real, it probably won’t be a warm welcome. I mean, the guy hasn’t even mustered up a sincere public apology for his actions. So, what do you think, Perezcious readers? Share your thoughts in the comments below, and let’s brace ourselves for Ye’s next big adventure!
